He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Coopy and Lillian Coopy (Vaultman); and his siblings, Bill, Ken, Carol and Nancy.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Coopy (Gallagher); his daughters, Michelle Ladd (Larry) and Carol Higgins (Mark); and his grandchildren, Megan, Brandon, Lauren and John. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
