He was predeceased by: his parents, Sheldon Von Kappes and Grace Kappes (Ducker); his daughter Stephanie Chasar; and his brother David Myers. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Kappes (Misner); his daughters, Kimberly Peters (Mark) of Ravenna, OH and Carrie Soto (Avion) of LaVeen, AZ; his son-in-law Steve Chasar of Chandler, AZ; his grandchildren, Zac, Mac Alboreo, Aubrie Vasquez (Adrian), Logan Peters (Samantha), Ashley Peters, Marcus Peters (Monica) and Emily Peters; his siblings, John Kappes (Debra) and Melinda Marple (Dan); and his sisters-in-law, Beverly Romano (Russ) and Rebecca Anderson. He is also survived by his nephew, nieces, great-grandchildren, and many friends.
