She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Balzer and Mabel Balzer (Russell); and her siblings, William Balzer, Sharyn McCurdy and Daniel Balzer.

She is survived by: her children, James Ferraro (Kristin), Angelina Ferraro and Jillian Gilbert (Bryce); her grandchildren, Alana Ferraro, Wyatt Gilbert, Domenico Ferraro, Evelyn Gilbert and Thorin Cunningham; and her siblings, Frances Strock (Tom), Theodore Balzer and Pearl Stepp. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
