He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bartholomew Schneider and Rose Schneider (Magargee); his wife Cindy Schneider (Ulrich); his children, Stephen Schneider and Margie Brittan (Jim); his grandchildren, Laura, Logan, Colin, Maegan and Aaron; and his siblings, Catherine Vlcek, Al Schneider, Agnes Calvin (Walter), Vince Schneider (Becky) and Susanna Symons. He was also cherished by many loving nieces and nephews.
