As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Connie may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwood Mowery and Catherine Mowery (Webb); and her siblings, Barbara Sue Mowery, John Mowery Sr. and David Mowery.

She is survived by: her husband Darrell G. Thompson; and her cousin Sarah Bates. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel (141 N Meridian St, Ravenna, OH 44266). A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Highland Memory Gardens (42 Highland Memory Ln, Chapmanville, WV 25508).
