He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward Humphrey and Lena Mae Baird of Watauga, Tennessee.; and his brother Jimmy Dewayne "Chick" Humphrey. He is survived by: his daughter Jamye King (Freeman) of Bristol; his siblings, Delisa LaFleur (Keith) of Watauga, Tennesse and Jonathan "Tracy" Humphrey (Robin) of Watauga; and his grandchildren, Nevaeh Humphrey, Kora King and Alorah King.
