She was predeceased by: her father James Alfred "Fred" Woods; her husband William C. Ward; her sons, Larry W. and Junior Dale Ward; her siblings, James Paul Woods, Verlie Woods and Eleanor Beavers; her daughter-in-law Sheila Ward; and her half-sister Faye Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Matthews (Frederick) of Rarden, Barbara Woods (Lelian) of Springfield, Ernest Ward of Springfield and Jeffrey Ward (Karen) of Piketon; and her brother Ralph Leon Woods of Peebles. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren.
The family asks in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
