She was predeceased by: her parents, Ollie Otis and Nola O Smith (Curtis); her husband Gene "Tunney" McAllister; and her siblings, Franklin Smith, Henry Smith and Cora Bowman.
She is survived by: her children, Taunya McAllister Wilson (Doug) of Proctorville, David McAllister (Debbie) of Peebles, Gene McAllister (Sue) of Rarden and Martin McAllister (Jody) of Rarden; her sister Bonnie Brown (Bernard) of Peebles; and her grandchildren, Joshua McAllister, Jessica Gilbert, Mary Wilson, Molly Wilson, Amanda Gaines and Autumn McAllister. She is also survived by her twelve great-grandchildren.
