He was predeceased by: his parents, Benny Shuemake and Loretta Shuemake (Pierce); his wife Fern Lorraine Shuemake (Studer); and his brother Jack Shuemake. He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Sturgeon (Kenneth) of Rainsboro, Randy Shuemake of Rainsboro, John Shuemake (Cindy Hamm) of Hillsboro, Amy Shuemake of Rainsboro and Kelly Shuemake of Rainsboro; his grandchildren, Kassie Sturgeon, Dustin Shuemake, Shelby Shuemake, Kiaira Shuemake and Katrina Lorraine Sturgeon; and his siblings, Susan Traylor of Mt. Orab, Charles Shuemake of Mt. Orab, Benny Shuemake of Williamsburg, Howard Shuemake of Mt. Orab and Walter Shuemake (Diana) of Hamersville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
