He is survived by: his son Justin Lee Rice; his parents, Willard Rice and Patty Rice; his sister Tammy Jordan (Okey); his nephew Shane Askins (Audra); his nieces, Stevie Hodges (Joe) and Sumer Akers (Greg); his great-nephews, Cameron Ray, Hunter Akers and Grayson Askins; his great-niece Frankie Jo Hodges; his pet Bossy; his close friend Steve Bonecutter; and also Kathy Rice. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins.
