He was predeceased by: his father William Ray; his sisters, Mary Ellen Lewis (Bill) and Lois Harris (George); and his brothers-in-law, Calvin "Bud" Simpson (Betsy) and Gerald Simpson.
He is survived by: his wife Lillian Mae; his son William Michael (Virginia Hayman); his grandchildren, William Tate Hayman (Damia), Travis Hayman (Kathy) and Tassica Lyn Yambor (Jason); his great grandchildren, Aislyn Marie Hayman, Neal, Albee Yambor, Ayda, William Dawson and Marshall Hayman; his sister Janice Simpson of Houston; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Louise Shuler (Ernest) and Shirley Simpson.
