He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Brinker VanMeter; and his wife Cathy Lynn Carleton. He is survived by: his daughters, Angela "Angie" Nelson and Jennifer "Jenny" Seth (Shaun) of Long Bottom; his grandchildren, Kase Nelson, Caelin Seth and Corey Seth; his sister Margaret Ann Johnson (Arthur); his aunt Elva Barnitz; his niece Sheryl West (Sean); his nephew Patrick Johnson (Lisa); and his brothers-in-law, Brady Sayre, Larry Sayre (Delores), Clyde Sayre (Debbie) and Terry Sayre (Sharon).
