He was predeceased by: his wife Andrea Theiss Smith. He is survived by: his sons, Bradley Smith (Cyndal) of Vinton, Cody Smith (Georgana) of Pomeroy, Tyler McVay (Cassandra) of Syracuse, Levi Smith of Pomeroy and Weston Smith of Racine, Ohio; his grandchildren, Addison, Carson, Keldon, Keira, Stella and Ethan; his parents, Shirley Smith Bucher (Leo) and Ernest L. Smith; his siblings, David Smith of Nelsonville, Erin Edwards of Middleport and Brandon Smith (Tricia) of Columbus, Ohio; and his mother-in-law Pam Theiss of Syracuse, Ohio.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews whom he adored; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
