He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Searles and Betty Young McGuire; and his wife Mary Ann Searles. He is survived by: his son Steven Searles (Whitley Parsons) of Ripley; his grandsons, Jeremiah Searles and Steven Searles, Jr.; and his siblings, Connie Hudson of Middleport, Lynne Arms of Racine, Recka Elder of Louisville, Ragena McGuire of Reynoldsburg and Terry McGuire of Pomeroy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
