He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Raymond and Pearl Hill Ervin; his wife Nancy Ervin (Fink); his brothers, Paul and Roy Ervin; his siblings-in-law, Richard Fink, Owen Fink, Wilma Ervin (Paul) and Anna Fink (Owen); and his nephews, Eugene Ervin and Donald Wayne Ervin.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Dailey (Steve), Sharon Hall, Beverly Willford (Roger), Howard R. Ervin Jr. (Sally), Herbert Ervin (Patricia), Teresa Wilson (Ron) and Tammy McClung (Jerry); his grandchildren, Shawn Dailey (Sis Poplin), Heather Johnson (Dale), Chad Hubbard (Kati), Bradley Willford (Sahana), Travis Willford (Taylor), Howard R Ervin, III (Megan), Sara Ervin, Kacy Halsey (Josh), Josh Ervin (Ashley), Macyn Baylor (Ryan), Stacy Kapp (Charles), Stephanie Lewis (Sarah) of Ronnie Wilson, JR and Lacy Hupp (Richard Flakes-Lewis); his great grandchildren, Shelbi Dailey, Peyton Johnson, Logan, Parker, Audrey Willford, Brayden, Conner Ervin, Preston, Alexis (Matthias Stansbury), Dalton Ervin, Ethan, Treyson Mullen, Keegan, Triston Halsey, Quinn, Rhemy, Canyon Ervin, Kezney, Nash Baylor, Gage, Easton Kapp, Isaac Lewis, Paisleigh, Elsie, Adley, Corbin Wilson, Colton, Zack, Ava and Jerika Hupp; his sisters-in-law, Doris Ervin (Roy) and Ruth Fink (Richard); and his nieces and nephews, Wynona Buckley, Judy Gilmore, Angie Harden (Don), Mona Ervin (Eugene), Danny Fink, Roy Ervin (Lynn), Mark Ervin and Wendell Ervin (Peggy).
