He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Umsteadt and Barbara Robley Umsteadt. He is survived by: his wife Lise Johnson; his children, Barbara Burchard of Parkersburg, WV., Jennifer Umsteadt of Vienna, WV., Jessica Morton (Marshall) of Vienna and Frederick Umsteadt Jr.; and his brother Richard Umsteadt (Catherine) of Coco Fl. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
