He was predeceased by: his mother Suzanne Irene Parsons (Hendrix); his aunt Wilma; his uncle Raymond Grady; and his grandparents, Emmaline, Woodrow Hendrix and Elmer Parsons Sr. (Frances).

He is survived by: his father Elmer Benjamin Parsons Jr.; his sister Rebecca Parsons; the mother of his children Rachel Allen; his children, Hannah Parsons and BJ Parsons; and his close friends, Roy, Cheryl Miller, Barry and Beth Shaver.
