She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Thomas and Geneva Stamper Avis; her husband Larry Spencer; her son Michael Spencer; her brother Richard; and her parents-in-law, Elson and Dorothy Spencer.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Ashley Thacker (James); her daughter-in-law Lois Hawkins (Rick); her great grandchildren, Reena Thacker and Nakita Thacker; her brothers, Thomas Avis (Judy) and Robert Avis; her brothers-in-law, Ernest Ike Spencer (Judy) and Dave Spencer (Linda); and her nieces and nephews, Michelle Avis, Meghan Parry (Matthew), Selena Spencer (Steve Dunlap), Lisa Wolfe, Nick Avis (Kathryn), Jonathan Justice and John Spencer (Lori).
