He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Kies and Marilyn Kies (Strohmenger); and his sister Yvonne Cummings. He is survived by: his wife Pam Kies (Elliott); his daughter Lisa McFeely (Scott); his grandchildren, Aiden and Parker; his siblings, Jeff Kies (Tina), Doug Kies (MaryJo), Kelley Brautigam (Ron), Chuck Kies (Kim), Rhonda Kies, Jenny Kies and Ryan Kies; his stepmother Cheryl E. Kies; his brother-in-law Tim Cummings; his mother-in-law Patsy Elliott; and his brother-in-law Randy Elliott (Tammy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
