She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Lewis Newman and Clara Viola Newman (Kendall); her husband Charles Corwin Stryker; and her siblings, Ann Turner, Phyllis Smith, Lois Weber, Carl Newman, Cecil Newman, Wilbur Newman, Gerald Newman, Robert Newman and Lewis Newman Jr..

She is survived by: her daughters, Paula Bell (Charles) and Fran Slat (William); her grandsons, Jeffrey Slat (Julie), Joe Slat (Jennifer) and Jason Bell (Molli); her great grandchildren, Nolan Slat, Cecelia Slat, Madison Bell, Corwin Bell and Carston Bell; and her great great grandchild Zeke Bell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
