He was predeceased by: his parents, John Nicholes and Virginia Nicholes (McEndree); his wife Yvonna; his sons, Joey Wayne, Kenny Sean, Korry Gene and Kerry Dean; his siblings, Delbert Nicholes (Donna), Don Nicholes (Rosalie), Robert Nicholes, Delores Crooks (Herman), Sylvia Neuhart (Larry), Florence Lent and Patricia Perkins; and his brother-in-law Ernest Jr. Roe.
He is survived by: his daughters, Penny McPeek (Robert) of Newcomerstown, Peggy Miller (Roger) of Quaker City, Polly Doane (John) of Pleasant City and Pammy Wilson (Chad) of Las Vegas, NV; his sister Shirley Roe of Old Washington; his grandchildren, Devin Nicholes (Alexe), Hannah Howard (Bryan), Kodie Nicholes (Whitney), C. D. Vinson (Jenny), Miranda Miller, Kylene Keadle (Anthony), Tessa Wilson (Darin), Samuel McPeek (T. J.), Shantelle Keadle (Jeff), Seth McPeek (Krystal), Chesney Keadle (Brandon), Hugh McPeek and Laikyn Rhodes (Josiah); and his great grandchildren, Bella Hannah, Kyler, Malaya, Sophia, Rhodie, Kodak, Petra, Stella, Beau, Boone, Skylar, Gianna, Riley, Noah, Isla, Wyatt, Koen and Ryker.
