He was predeceased by: his parents, John Nicholes and Virginia Nicholes (McEndree); his wife Yvonna; his sons, Joey Wayne, Kenny Sean, Korry Gene and Kerry Dean; his siblings, Delbert Nicholes (Donna), Don Nicholes (Rosalie), Robert Nicholes, Delores Crooks (Herman), Sylvia Neuhart (Larry), Florence Lent and Patricia Perkins; and his brother-in-law Ernest Jr. Roe.
He is survived by: his daughters, Penny McPeek (Robert) of Newcomerstown, Peggy Miller (Roger) of Quaker City, Polly Doane (John) of Pleasant City and Pammy Wilson (Chad) of Las Vegas, NV; his sister Shirley Roe of Old Washington; his grandchildren, Devin Nicholes (Alexe), Hannah Howard (Bryan), Kodie Nicholes (Whitney), C. D. Vinson (Jenny), Miranda Miller, Kylene Keadle (Anthony), Tessa Wilson (Darin), Samuel McPeek (T. J.), Shantelle Keadle (Jeff), Seth McPeek (Krystal), Chesney Keadle (Brandon), Hugh McPeek and Laikyn Rhodes (Josiah); and his great grandchildren, Bella Hannah, Kyler, Malaya, Sophia, Rhodie, Kodak, Petra, Stella, Beau, Boone, Skylar, Gianna, Riley, Noah, Isla, Wyatt, Koen and Ryker.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thorn-Black Funeral Home Inc. (291 Pike St, Quaker City, OH 43773). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Thorn Black Funeral Home (291 Pike St, Quaker City, OH 43773).
