Rita Carol Shuman Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Carol Shuman of Quaker City, Ohio, who passed away on January 19, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Emerson Christman and Lucille Christman (Wyscarver); and her husband David Shuman. She is survived by: her sons, Aaron Shaffer (Mandy) of Cambridge and Mitchel Shaffer (Andrea) of Byesville; her stepsons, Brian, Randy and Blake; her sister Karen Starr (Rick) of Caldwell; her grandchildren, Chrissy Willison (Luke) of Caldwell, Dalton Shaffer (Mariah) of Belpre, Brody Shaffer of Cambridge and Victoria Ferrell of Los Angeles; her great grandchildren, Liam Willison of Caldwell and Maeve Shaffer of Belpre; and her close friends, Charlene Hastings and Jerry Dale Lippert. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
