He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Gilcher and Mary Watson Gilcher. He is survived by: his siblings, Harold Gilcher (Jean) of Quaker City, OH and Karen Grace (Barry) of Culpeper, VA; and his half-sister Jean Gintert of Warren, OH.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
