He was predeceased by: his parents, Jules Canel and Mary Edith Canel (Oakley); his sister Margaret Ann Long; and his brother-in-law Frank Clifford Alwine. He is survived by: his wife Janice Irene Canel (Alwine); his children, Travis Canel (Michelle) of Granada Hills, CA and Kim Canel-Bell of Garden Grove, CA; his grandchildren, Megan, Cody, Ashlyn Canel, Corey and Emily Bell; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Ann Davis, Leota Alwine and Bud Long. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and good friends.
Family and friends are all welcome, but due to COVID-19, FACE COVERINGS ARE REQUIRED.
