He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde W. Christman and Clara Belle Christman (Kennon); and his brother Dennis Christman. He is survived by: his wife Julie Christman (Hall); his children, Matthew, Michael Christman of Quaker City and Andrea Reid (Rusty) of Pleasant City; his brothers, Clyde Reed Christman of Quaker City, Devon Jay Christman of Quaker City and Darin Christman (Lora) of Quaker City; his grandchildren, Sydney Christman, Skyler Reid, Somer Reid and Sawyer Reid; and his stepgrandchildren, Robert Oakley and Allie Mayo. He is also survived by many nieces nephews, and good friends.
