He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Potochnik, and Katherine Belle Potochnik, Sr. (Jones); his former wife Eula Marlene Potochnik (Rataiczak); and his brothers, James Potochnik, Raymond Potochnik and John Potochnik.
He is survived by: his wife Melba Potochnik; his children, Gary Potochnik of Acme, Carolyn Bell (Ian), Kaely Potochnik, Mark Potochnik, Brad Potochnik, Drew Potochnik (Jen), Todd Potochnik of Quaker City, Tyler Potochnik (Morgan) and Alex Potochnik (Bailee); his great grandchildren, Ethan Bell, Evan Bell, Raelyn Potochnik, Colter Potochnik and Annalee Potochnik; and his siblings, Katherine Gabosch, Karl Potochnik and Robert Potochnik.
