It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Emery of Prospect, Ohio, who passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Wayne may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxine Emery (Griffith) and Floyd Emery of Prospect. He is survived by: his stepchild Erin Shook (Dustin); and also, Arden Shook of Ada, Carrie Pasma (Levi), Ryan, Austin, Tyler, Adney and Bonnie Pasma of LaRue. He is also survived by His children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home (310 E Water St, Prospect, OH 43342). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Prospect Methodist Church (203 N Elm St, Prospect, OH 43342).
