He is survived by: his wife Linda Howald Hedges; his children, Rebecca Warren (David Warren) of Barre, Katherine Showalter (Chris Showalter) of Fulks Run and Samuel Hedges (Mary-Pat) of Hampstead; and his grandchildren, Aaron Hedges, Cindi Stanbough, Abigail Showalter and Mikaylah Showalter. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
