She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Houk and Mary Houk (Winters); and her sister Phyllis Kreis. She is survived by: her husband Steven Thiel; her children, Lori Wilson, Angie Jackson (Dan) of Prospect, Jaime Grossmann (Kurt) of Ostrander and Logan Blank of Mt. Juliet, TN; her stepchildren, Stephanie Thiel of Honolulu, HI and Dan Thiel (Vivian) of Seville; and her siblings, Michael Houk (Sharon) of Olathe, KS, Robert Houk (Lori) of Morrison, CO, Jerry Houk, Jan Bowers of Gainesville, GA, Linda Russell (Ray) of Richwood and Deborah Schmidt (Robert) of Waldo. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
