He was predeceased by: his siblings, Dick Barnett and Conard Hudson; his sister-in-law Lyda Hudson; his nephews, Eddie Hudson and Mike Barnett; and also Barb Barnett.
He is survived by: his spouse Margaret Catherine King; his daughters, Diana Carr Napier (Tim Harbin) of Bucyrus, OH and Linda Garza (Rolando) of Corpus Christi, TX; his grandchildren, Rodney Hudson Enad (Ken), Timothy Carr (Heather Rubel), Nicole Evans (Mike), Matthew Carr (Lauren Bailey), Megan Garza (Luis Archuleta), Andrea Garza, Madilyn Carr, Nicholas DeLaCruz, Lilly Evans and Violet Archuleta; his brother-in-law Richard Simms; his sister Kathy Simms; his nephews, Doug Barnett, Adam Simms and Aaron Simms; and his niece Angela Hudson. He is also survived by his parents; brother-in-law.
