We are sad to announce that on July 31, 2020, at the age of 93, Doris Shoewalter of Prospect, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Foy Shoewalter; her siblings, Jack Dean and Virginia Wiseman; and her parents, Howard Dean and Grace Stiverson Dean of Morral, OH..
She is survived by: her close friends, Bill and Morris Rinesmith; her children, Doris L (Dee) of Columbus, OH and Jeffery of New Albany, OH; her granddaughters, Sarah Akins, Emily Boyd (Landon) and Megan Shoewalter; her great grandchildren, Brendon, Brady and Aiden; and her brothers, Howard Dean (Susan) of Norton, OH and Richard Dean (Marcia).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium to support the polar bears in Doris memory.
