He was predeceased by: his father Fred Burgess; his wife Margie Lou Cox Burgess; and his sister Joyce Price. He is survived by: his sons, Barry Burgess (Rena), Bruce Burgess (Karen) and Brad Burgess (Heather); and his grandchildren, Blake Burgess (Raquel), Lindsey Wellman (Jake), Brooke Burgess, Allisun Whetsel, Allison Burgess, Brogan Burgess and Reagan Burgess. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
