Emerson Gail left this world on March 20, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Adkins and Clema Adkins of Hamlin, WV.; and his brother Bobby Adkins. He is survived by: his wife Ida Conner Adkins; his sons, Sean Adkins (Sonja) of Hopewell, VA and Eugene Patterson (Janet) of Jackson, MI; his siblings, Pamela Adkins Ramey, Evagean Adkins and Shirley Adkins (Opal); and his stepchildren, Larry Conner (Beverly) and Linda Warner. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hall Funeral Home & Crematory (625 OH-775, Proctorville, OH 45669). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
