David Lawrence Withers Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Lawrence Withers of Proctorville, Ohio, born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on September 21, 2022 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Cora Alice Withers; his wife Barbara Withers; his sons, David Withers II (Nikki) of Proctorville, OH, James Withers (Amanda) of Laurel, MT and Brittani of Bridgman, MI; his grandchildren, Haley Withers, Dilynn Withers, Hannah Withers, Elijah Withers, Owen Withers, Austyn Withers and Benjamin Withers; and his sisters, Rebecca Blankenship (John) of Beckley, WV, Bethanie Wood (Robert) of Saginaw, MI and Amanda Wood (Gregory) of Cool Ridge, WV. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews; along with many close friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are encouraged to enhance the WV Baptist Camp at Cowen through the Withers Memorial Fund.
