She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Whitney Jr. and Mary Akers Whitney; and her siblings, William Lloyd Whitney and Marion Gallaher. She is survived by: her daughter Sheri Mays (Jerry Fuller); and her nephews, James Michael Thomas and John "Andy" Gallaher.
