He was predeceased by: his parents, Addie Aldine and Mason Barcus Sr. of Maine; and his siblings, Betty Barcus, Barbara Smith and Mason "Red" Barcus Jr. of Maine.
He is survived by: his caregiver Janet Marie Barcus (Weser); his siblings, Roger Barcus (Lynn) of Huntington, WV and JoAnn Smith of Virginia; his daughter Leslie Duncan; his son-in-law Tim Duncan; and his grandchildren, Mackenzie Lantz (Nate) and Mason Duncan.
In more recent years Aaron suffered from Parkinson's, the family encourages donations be made to the Michael J. Fox foundation for Parkinson's research.
