He was predeceased by: his daughter Mary Beth; his parents, Rosemary Kunnen and Albert Kunnen; and his brother Dick Kunnen (Virginia). He is survived by: his wife Mary Clare; his children, Michael, Timothy, Patrick, Kathy Ernst (John), Martha Ekardt (Patrick) and Marianne Kunnen-Jones (Rick); his grandchildren, Chris, Jeff, Daniel Ernst, Claire Shoemaker, Annie Ekardt and Patty Ekardt; and his siblings, Thomas and Albert (Angela).
