Zora Marie Kernik Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Zora Marie Kernik (Powhatan Point, Ohio), who passed away on April 1, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Bone (Zec) and John Vichich; her husband Benjamin Kernik; her son Bennie Kay; and her siblings, Tom, George, Nick Vichich, Kata Snively, Rose Vehar, Margaret Matuszewski and Mitzie Farano.
She is survived by: her children, Melanie Cook (Mark) and Robert Kernik (Cindy); her grandchildren, Ryan Kernik (Jill), Bethany Lucas (Ryan) and Brittany Reasbeck (Anthony); and her great grandchildren, Gunner, Griffin, Maddie, Max and Rilyn.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home - Powhatan Point Chapel (186 Main St, Powhatan Point, OH 43942). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
