He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Brooks and Ellen E. "Betty" Brunner Brooks; and his siblings, Nancy Graham, Darlene Brooks, Virgil, Donald and Earl Brooks.
He is survived by: his wife Madelyn R. West Brooks; his children, Tabatha Craig (Scott), Michael "Mike" Brooks (Priscilla) and Lawri Brown (Jeremiah); his grandchildren, Chacity VanDyke (Dan), Jade Craig, Kasey Craig (Destinee), Raven Brooks and Brooke Brown; his great grandchildren, Craig, Danica, Briellia, Rhett, Crypton and Daxten; and his sisters, Mary Baker (Sammy) and Delores Haslam (Levi). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the Columbus Children's Hospital.
