It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Yass Benis of Powell, Ohio, who passed away on August 12, 2023, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Stuart A. Benis; her parents, Nana Afkham-Ebrahimi and Majid Amir-Ebrahimi; her parents-in-law, I. C. "Cy" and Frances T. Benis; her brother Jamshid Amir-Ebrahimi; and her sister-in-law Alice Benis Slonim.

She is survived by: her children, Arianna Benis and Isaac Cyrus Benis; her siblings, Ladan Amir-Ebrahimi, Farshid Amir-Ebrahimi and Babak Amir-Ebrahimi; and her stepchildren, Cathy Mendel, Bruce Benis and Caryn Yair (Naftali). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends, and pets.
