He is survived by: his wife Pansy Newsome Ackley; his daughter Joyce Fullen (Mark); his grandchildren, Danielle (Christopher Ross), William Fullen (Nicole Jackson), Olivia Fullen, Caleb, Marissa, Warner Ross and Kai Fullen; his great grandchild Briana Nicholas; his siblings, Marjorie Ackley DeLong, Lloyd Ackley (Edith), Robert Ackley and Donald Ackley (Carol); and his sister-in-law Nancy Ackley.
