She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas and Kathryn Thomas (Rigel); her significant other Jim Downhower; her sister Janet Irene Thomas; and her siblings-in-law, Beverly Stroh (Frank) and Ron Neth.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Megan Downhower of Powell and Thomas "Tommy" Olcese of Goshen, Indiana.; her son James Downhower (Renee) of Powell; her grandchild Jamie Olcese (Renzo) of Goshen, Indiana.; her siblings, Patricia Mowen (John) of Lima, Mary Neth-Coy (Ronald) of Lima, Michael Thomas (Pamela) of Lima and Jay Thomas of Lima; and her siblings-in-law, Francis Downhower (Judith) of Alden, NY and Sharon (late Owen) of Lima, Ohio.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Crossroads Church of God (775 S Thayer Rd, Lima, OH 45806). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Johnny Appleseed Metropolitan Park District.
