He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellwood Harrold and Jennie Harrold (Kauffman); and his sister Janet Barnhart. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Harrold (Denny) of Powell; his children, Andrea Lenyo (David) of Huron and Bradley Harrold (Melissa) of Powell; and his grandchildren, Alexandria Lenyo, Nicholas Lenyo, Ella Harrold and Ian Harrold.
