He was predeceased by: his father Ralph A. Farber; his wife Ruth Ann Farber; his sister Janice Cooper-Oliver (Farber); his parents-in-law, George H. and Emily B. Davy (Mason); and his siblings-in-law, Donald W. Reber, Oral B. Martin, Frank Nein, Barbara Davy (Bickel), Mary Jane Reber (Davy) and James L. Davy.
He is survived by: his daughter Michelle L. Mallett (Vaughn); his grandchildren, Travis J. Shegog (Sarah) and Alexis M. Barclay (Jordan); his great grandchildren, Wesley J. Shegog, Eleanor M. Shegog and Theodore B. Shegog; his sister Mary Ellen Nein (Farber); and his siblings-in-law, Nancy J. Davy (Iler), Charlotte S. Martin (Davy) and George E. Davy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Jim worked at The Schott until age 90 when Covid shut things down.
