He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Bowers and Ruth Bowers; his daughter Susan Lynn Bowers; and his sister Barbara Moore. He is survived by: his significant other Agnes; his sister Debbie Petty (Steve); and his children, James Bowers, Jr. (Amy), Laurie Wagner (Jonathan), Scott Bowers (Kathy) and Kimberly Mabee (Christopher). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
