She is survived by: her husband Gilbert K. Higgins, Sr.; her children, Debora L. Ashok (Venkat) and Gilbert K. Higgins, Jr. (Judy Dryfka); her grandchildren, Jason Higgins, Jennifer Higgins and Armond I. Newton; her great grandchildren, Alex G. Blevins Newton and Vicki E. Higgins; and her brother Arthur L. Vincent (Anna).
