He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Maynard and Ruth Maynard; and his brother Willie Maynard. He is survived by: his wife Deborah; his children, Chuck Maynard, Connie Rose (Brian Knoll), Elizabeth Dusenberry (Doug Dusenberry) and Samantha Keigley (Walt Keigley); his grandchildren, Artie, Abby Rose, Trevor, Kate, Colin, Hailey Maynard, Walter, Scarlett, Maximus Keigley and Hudson Dusenberry; his siblings, Mary Louise Fluty, Dorothy Pemberton (Stan), Loretta Conkel (Neil) and Jimmy Maynard (Debbie); and his sister-in-law Denice Abbot (Bill). He is also survived by his numerous nieces and nephews.
