He was predeceased by: his parents, Ashton Jackson and Alma Jackson (Byus); his wife Marilyn; and his siblings, Eugene Jackson, Reba Hoffman and Violet Dunlap.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Jackson (Sandy) and Karen Krouse; his grandchildren, Mary Garrick (David), Kyle Jackson (Alicia) and Ryan Jackson (Lauren); and his great grandchildren, Stella, Luke Jackson, Hadley, Lily Garrick, Jason, Riley and Ellison Jackson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Auvil's name to the hospice organization that provided excellent care and support: ProMedica Foundations, 444 N. Summit St., Toledo, Ohio 43604. The ProMedica Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, and all contributions are tax-deductable.
