He is survived by: his wife Dana Vinson Hammond; his children, Scott "Randy" Hammond (Noreen) of South Shore, KY, Ensign William Andrew Hammond (Lauren), S. Navy, Joshua David Hammond of Haverhill and Kaitlin Hammond-Hunter (Alexander) of Denver, CO; his sisters, Patti Applegate (Earl) of Portsmouth and Barbara Hebb (Del) of Fruitland Park, FL; and his grandchildren, Ester Rene Hammond and Berno Alexander Hammond.
