He was predeceased by: his father Winford Scalf; his stepmother Nancy Scalf (Chinn); his brothers, Steve Scalf, Jeff Scalf and Billy Marcum; his stepsister Barb Asbury; his sisters-in-law, Birdie Scalf and Tori Scalf; and his niece Becky Scalf.
He is survived by: his wife Regina Scalf (Gruber); his sons, Teddy Scalf II (Misty) of McDermott and Eric Scalf (Ashley) of Portsmouth; his brothers, Ronnie Scalf of Orrville, Pat Scalf (Carla) of Lucasville and David Brannon of Portsmouth; his stepbrothers, Johnny Wilson (Marie Varney) of Wheelersburg and Steve Wilson of Portsmouth; his sisters, Wanda Wilson (Chuck) of Portsmouth and Marlena Marcum of Waverly; and his grandchildren, Trenton Scalf, Aubrie Scalf, Chandler Scalf and Axel Scalf. He is also survived by many other children.
